Halo 3 Has Not Shipped Anywhere

There are quite a few sites on the net reporting that Halo 3 had shipped to select retailers. Most sites were reporting these retailers as being MediaWorld and other major outlets in Europe. The simple fact is this is false. The items people are currently seeing in stores are promotional (empty) boxes. This is common practice for many videogame and entertainment stores. Bungie has personally addressed the rumor.
