Halo 3 officially Goes Gold

Many sites around the net, including XF, have been reporting that Halo 3 had gone gold. This was based on the fact that Frank O'Conner was playing the final version of the game. In typical MS fashion though, they have announced today that Halo 3 has gone gold. Wow, thanks MS. We love your late press releases. Hopefully soon, MS will officially announce the 360 plays games. The wait is almost over. “Halo 3,” the final chapter in the groundbreaking “Halo” trilogy and the most anticipated game release of 2007, has been released to manufacturing.
